Wow it has been awhile since I blogged.I was going to blog yesterday but while I was getting on the laptop our pipe burst in the living room so you can imagine the mess we had around here.

I haven't been doing a while lot of stitching I have been taking a new medication that just has made me a sick as anything.I've had my blood pressure go way down to the basement as Annemarie put it.Great choice of words! I had my blood sugars drop to three. Not fun.And to top it off I have had quite a bit of angina which we name Aunt Gina around here.So health-wise I'm not doing the best.Husband kindly called today to see how I was and told me to go for a nap because after all I'm no spring chicken lol.

He is so lucky I love him.Or off with his head!

This will be my treat for making it through Spring Break.Yes I have the kids home for the week.

Need I say more?

I finished my Boleyn book by Phillippa Gregory. It was amazing, like all of her books.I am quite obsessed with the Tudor era.

Hi Sue! Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. At least a little stash arrived to ease the edge a bit! Stitching is looking lovely!

Take care of yourself!! I hope you're feeling better soon. Oy, and the kids home for Spring Break. It's enough to drive you to drink. LOL I'm facing that soon and already thinking about ear muffs and blinders so I don't hear the fighting.

Your Geranium House and Libery House WIPs are wonderful! YGG! Kudos on the new stash, too. I have had my Girl charts since they came out & am enjoying stitching MM way more than I had anticipated. I thought it would be copious amounts of filling in but I'm enjoying it. So far, so good.

I loved Boleyn Inheritance, actually all of PG's books. My favorites were The Queen's Fool & The Other Boleyn Girl. I read CJ Sansom's "The Sovereign" right after I read "The Boleyn Inheritance" which was fun, because Sansom's book had Lady Rochford as a side character. It was like glimpsing something from another angle.

Gosh, I hope you feel back to normal soon. It's bad when we're too sick to stitch, right? That's a pretty little sampler you've got there. I'm eventually going to do one of the girls, Elizabeth.
P.S. Your music is awesome.

I hope you get your medication issues worked out before you collapse! Very scary with the low BP and low sugars. I'm so happy to see that you have nice new stash - that is sure to make you feel much better! Lovely work on your WIP's!!

I'm sorry you've been poorly Sue - I do hope you're feeling better soon, that sounds horrible! :(

Your WIPs both look lovely so far and you got some great stash - nothing like a bit of retail therapy to make you feel better! :)

I love Philippa Gregory's books - I recently received The Queen's Fool and have read both The Boleyn Inheritance and The Other Boleyn Girl and thoroughly enjoyed them. Her non-tudor books are good too. Alison Weir is another good author (fiction and non-fiction) if you like that historical period.

Yikes, Sue, and now that pipe bursting too! But at least it's not a windpipe or any other bodily tube, I suppose it's okay. Hope your blood pressure is back to ground level.
Ooooh, I LOVE the girls!
Your progress looks pretty impressive, despite all your misfortune!

My goodness! You would think with that pipe bursting your blood pressure would be in the attic!!! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Both of your projects are just lovely...and those are some wonderful new charts too!!!

I love your WIPs and your new CHS charts.
I hope you already feel a bit better by now. Resting and stitching will help to recover completely, lol.

Hi Sue,

I have been meaning to comment on this post (truly)! Your wips are beautiful and love the new stash! I'm excited about the new movie! I listened to The Other Boleyn Girl a couple years ago and loved it (along with all the other Philippa Gregory books. She's definitely one of my favorite authors. I hope you are feeling better!
