Look what I woke up to this morning. Can you imagine?
snow day for the kids and my husband has even come home early from work as the roads are bad.

Right now my awesome neighbour is plowing the snow out of our driveway with his tractor.Isn't he just the best?

Siobhan's post really hit home today. She talks about moving from her home base to another country.I didn't move out of the country but I have moved to a different province.
Sometimes I wonder why we did.
We have no family or friends here.It does get me down sometimes but I'm very thankful to have all of you visiting me here so I feel less lonely!
health-wise I'm doing better now.Dr has put me on a different medication that has helped (so far) with my angina. But he still wants me to see a specialist and there is talk about having another angiogram done.So yeah it's all been a bit of a worry but hopefully it will get better. At least now I have energy to do housework ect.So thanks for your well wishes I really appreciate them.
...and if anyone is interested I started this

have a great day and thank you for visiting me.

Wow! We've been enjoying a lot of Spring-like weather over here and your picture looks like the middle of winter still!

Glad you're feeling a bit better, hope the doctor can sort the problem out completely.

OMG, all that snow, I can NOT imagine dealing with all of that, geesh!!

Hugs to you dear one :-)

OMG!! I can't get over all that snow!

I hope you are feeling better & that the meds are helping. (((((((Sue))))))))

... And a big (((((((Sue))))))) on the feelings about moving away. I so know what you are feeling. I try very hard to do the 'bloom where you are planted' thing but truly, I don't have (m)any friends here--certainly nobody that I'd call to just shoot the breeze with, and w/o going into a huge rant, my husband's family have been less than stellar in their attitudes. The BIL that lives closest--1/2 hour away--is good but DH's parents are *(!"!!! and have no interest in their grandchildren at all. If I didn't have the Internet and my stitching, I don't know how I would manage. Hang in there, gf.

My first expression was "OMG!" Argh, it's supposed to be spring. Wow'ser. I won't complain our rain at all then!

Glad to hear you are feeling better and hope that keeps on improving...although housework?

It is SO hard being without family, isn't it? Thank heavens for such a wonerful and supportive online community.

You take care, and don't overdo it on that housework!

WOW, I can't believe all of the snow. It's too late in the year for all of that. That's very nice of your neighbor to plow for you.

Unfortunately, I totally relate about the family issue. We have family within 45 minutes, but they don't have any interaction with my kids and that. It definitely is tough at times. Lots of hugs heading your way.

I know what you mean... I moved to the US from Japan when I married my husband 10+ years ago, and I miss my family so much. My parents & sister try to come visit me about once a year and that is great, but it's not the same, you know? I love where I am though, I just wish my family isn't a wide ocean away! Please take care - I'm glad you're feeling better :-)

Wow that's a lot of snow! I haven't seen that much snow since I lived in Michigan when I was a little girl! I too moved recently and it's been pretty hard. Thankfully I have met a couple stitching friends and try to meet with them at least once a month. That's one great thing about the internet! Glad to hear you are feeling a little better. I hope the specialist will be able to help you feel even better!

Oh my. Please, please, pretty please don't let that snow head my way. :) I have had more than enough winter for this year. Thank you very much. :)

I hope you are feeling better soon. AND that the weather improves. Warmer days with lots of sun and flowers will definitly help you feel better.

I saw a similar scene when we were in Iowa for Christmas. Yuk. The snow I can handle, the blowing wind and cold, not so much. Glad to hear you're feeling better. I love all of your little bird images. This one is particularly wonderful. I like to make collages and I'm always on the lookout for ones like it.

Oh yes, I know what you were feeling like seeing this in the morning. We were having the same white surprise the last couple of days. But yesterday it started raining so the snow has been melting.
I hope your are on the mend and are feeling good by now.
